Business Tools

projectactive

Business Tools is a business governance package containing licensing agreements, pricing models, and product brief documents for the alawein portfolio. The project is built entirely in markdown with no code runtime, serving as a structured document repository for business and legal governance artifacts.

The licensing agreements component houses the terms and conditions that govern how software in the alawein portfolio is distributed, used, and contributed to. By centralizing these documents in a single repository, Business Tools ensures that licensing language remains consistent across projects and can be updated from one location when terms change.

Pricing models define the commercial structure for products and services in the portfolio. These markdown documents capture pricing tiers, feature breakdowns, and positioning information that inform product strategy and customer-facing materials. Keeping pricing models version-controlled allows tracking how pricing evolves over time and provides an auditable history of commercial decisions.

Product brief documents serve as concise summaries of individual products, capturing their purpose, target audience, key features, and competitive positioning. These briefs function as reference material for stakeholders who need to understand what each product does without diving into technical documentation.

The markdown-based approach means Business Tools has no build step, no dependencies, and no deployment pipeline. Documents are authored and reviewed through standard Git workflows, making the repository accessible to both technical and non-technical contributors. The project is hosted on GitHub under the alawein organization at P2 priority and is in active development. It is tagged for business, pricing, and licensing use cases within the governance domain.
