Adil

Adil (working title: Evidentia) is an elegant legal case management tool designed to automate the end-to-end workflow of legal case preparation and submission generation. The project targets the pain point of manual evidence processing, case summarization, form filling, and submission package assembly — tasks that traditionally take hours but can be reduced to 5-15 minutes with automation.

Core Capabilities (planned):

• Evidence processing and organization from raw case materials
• Automated case summary generation from structured evidence
• Form auto-fill for legal submission documents
• Submission package creation with proper formatting and attachments

Technical Direction:

Built in Python (3.8+), with CI/CD and test coverage infrastructure. An earlier demonstration existed under the alaweimm90-archieve/adil GitHub archive but has since been retired. The current iteration is in the planning phase, starting fresh as a P0 priority project.

Context:

The name "Adil" (Arabic: عادل) means "just" or "fair," reflecting the project's focus on accessible, efficient legal tooling. This is a greenfield rebuild — the previous prototype validated the core concept of automating legal case workflows, and the new version will incorporate lessons learned from that effort.
